Organic Sencha
This is a clean tasting tea , when brewed is distinct in colour.
It wil linfuse quickly and has a grassy aroma.
Organic Jasmine Pearls
Jasmine tea is infused with the scent of Jasmine flowers. The
flowers are placed under the drying tea leaves and they absorb their aroma.
A few leaves are rolled together to make a pearl and these will unroll in the
brewing process.
We recommend steeping for 3 minutes to allow the pearls to unroll and release
the Jasmine scent.
Organic Hunan Green
A fine organic green tea.
A little of this goes a long way and it will brew deep coloured
cup after 1-2 mins.
Organic Gunpowder
This gunpowder tea comes
from the Hunan province. The altitude and soil allow many good varieties to
be produced.
As the tea is compacted you require less than a teaspoon. A good
everyday tea.
Aged Liang tea vintage
1998
A Liang is a weight measure in China (about 31.25g).
This tea is compressed and stored between banboo.
It brews a light golden cup and has a unique smokey taste.Through the aging
process this tea develops a mellowness.
Green teas are steamed
after picking to prevent fermentation. They are then often rolled before drying
(for example, to make Gunpowder Tea).
This process removes the
bitterness from the leaves. Green tea is the most popular type of tea in China
and Japan.
